Seaspray Nipper carnival

Meet at the creek*
Seaspray will host their 2020 Nipper carnival on Sunday 16th Feb and invite all Gippsland Nippers to attend for a morning of fun and competition. The morning will start on the beach at 9:00am, please arrive at 8:30am

We will do a team warm up and have a team photo at the start of the morning.

We are looking for many helpers on the day

3 X recording and ribbons 5 x BBQ Serving and cooking 4 x event finish line marshals 4 x event result chaperone to recording Please help offer to help with

set up 2 x tents (1) recording 1 Seaspray club tent Bringing boards and equipment over set up beach area (flags poles) All kids must have their age group written on their hand age groups are as at 30th Sept 2019 so if your child is 9 as at the 30th Sept then they are under 10.
See attachment for list of events by age group. All kids must compete in their age groups, If you want to compete up because there is no event for your age please confirm with the marshal of the event before hand, the marshal will confirm with your age manager to confirm capability. Pennants will be awarded as per the age groups listed.

If the conditions do not allow us to use the surf we will run the events in the Creek, unless the weather forecast is for gale winds and thunderstorms then it will be cancelled.

There will be a team managers meeting at 8:45am in front of the Patrol tower. As well as a water safety briefing straight after.

We will have a BBQ after events (free sausage and drink for the competitors and water safety) and presentation of Ironman Pennants and Age Champs.

Depending on the weather this may be in the grassed area in the front of the club house or in the Bistro are. We will be consistent with Lakes scoring this weekend for overall team results. However the age champs will be decided from the summation of individual points awarded from 1st to 6th (6 points for first, one point for 6th) and ribbons awarded for the first 3 placings.
